    Babyliss Big Hair

    This is the solution to ALL hair woes, unless your hair is very short (and therefore presumably woe-less). The video above actually makes it look more complicated to use than it is - it's very very simple. What it basically does is give you a perfect blow dry with minimal effort from you; also it makes your hair incredibly shiny; also it adds volume. It's FANTASTIC, even on my unruly curly stupid hair.

    I recommended it on Twitter a couple of weeks ago and everyone who got one said 'thanks so much, it's changed my hair life'. Here's a review from makeup artist Aly Hazlewood's blog. Around £44 from Argos, Amazon (check out the ecstatic five-star reviews) and so on. NB There's a cheaper, static version but you want the one with the rotating brush.
