Last minute jewellery presents (or some timely self-gifting). These are all from
Net A Porter, who operate a same-day delivery service in London.
The utterly brilliant Belgian Waffle, aka Emma Beddington, a lawyer, and her friend Madevi Dailly, an animator, have created a range of biscuits of unusual frankness. Just the thought of them makes me die laughing, particularly in a festive "MY mother? What about YOUR mother? Never mind - let's have some biscuits" context. Or in a coffee-morning setting. Endless possibilities, really, each more appealing than the next.
The Arse Biscuits are being sold at Bust magazine's
Christmas Craftacular this Saturday in Bethnal Green; £8 for a large box (they come in 'Tourette's', 'Misfortune Cookies' and 'Office Woes' varieties) and £5 for a special Secret Santa sized box. I'm assured biscuits bought on Saturday will be fine for Christmas provided you keep them in an airtight box. There will also be fridge magnets 'and other mean crafts'.
You might also want to check out the ladies' Etsy site,
Cruel Tea ('tea time for bastards'), which features the likes of the below. Commissions are accepted, but probably not in time for Christmas. Still, that's ok - Valentine's Day is only around the corner.
